    2025 Preakness Stakes Predictions: Clever Again

    Everything about Clever Again screams 'winner.' His dad is former Triple Crown winner American Pharaoh. In the three racers he's participated in, he won two, blowing the competition away in the process (7 1/4 lengths). The one he didn't win was his first, at Keeneland (April 24, 2024) and he took second. His trainer, Steve Asmussen, has a solid history of success having trained horses that won the 2007 and 2009 Preakness.

    Jose Ortiz is his jockey; Ortiz won the Preakness in 2022. The only problem with Clever Again is a lack of experience. Can you trust your eyes and believe this speedy horse with a championship pedigree is chip off the ole block? Experience isn't everything, so-yes. Take him to win and definitely use him in exotics.
