2025 PGA Championship Odds, Picks & Predictions: Top 5 and Top 10 Bets
The PGA Championship is set to tee off from Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina on Thursday morning. It’s the second major of the 2025 PGA Tour season, with Rory McIlroy winning the first major in dramatic fashion at The Masters.
While it’s always fun cashing outright winners on the PGA Tour, this article is going to focus on Top 5 and Top 10 Finish betting markets. It’s a fun way to get action on golfers who play well throughout the week but come up short of the winning podium.

Top 5 and Top 10 Bets for 2025 PGA Championship
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Rory McIlroy – Top 5 (+100)
I’ll grab even odds on Rory McIlroy to log a top 5 finish at a course he’s historically dominated. McIlroy is among the best off-the-tee with his driver and this will bode well for the power hitter at a long track like Quail Hollow Club.
McIlroy enters this major with three outright wins, including at The Masters. Has four top five finishes in eight events this season and ranks second in total strokes gained, including first SG: Off-the-Tee, sixth SG: Putting and 25th SG: Approach.
With four outright wins at Quail Hollow Club, including last year at the 2024 Wells Fargo Championship, McIlroy should wind up with his fifth top 5 finish in Charlotte this week.
Justin Thomas – Top 5 (+360)
Few golfers are hotter than Justin Thomas on the links entering the PGA Championship. Thomas has six top 10 finishes, three runner-ups, and a recent outright win at the RBC Heritage.
He’s ranked first in putting average, fifth SG: Approach and 25th proximity. Thomas returns to Quail Hollow Club, where he won the 2017 PGA Championship.
Recent finishes of 2-T36-1-T2 ahead of Round 1 on Thursday. At +360 odds, based on his current form and prior success at this course, let’s bet a unit on Thomas to log his fifth top 5 finish of 2025.
Tommy Fleetwood – Top 10 (+280)
I’m always a bit hesitant to back Tommy Fleetwood but he’s rounding into form right now, recording back-to-back top 10 finishes. The Englishman did this in cut-free, Signature Events after carding a T21 finish at The Masters.
Ranked 10th total strokes gained. This includes 13th SG: Approach, 34th in driving accuracy, 41st proximity and ninth in putting average. Fleetwood is also top 20 in birdie average (4.33) and par 4s (3.96) in 2025.
Coming off of 14-5-13 at three straight Wells Fargo Championship events held at Quail Hollow Club. At +280 odds, I’ll bet a unit on Fleetwood to keep his momentum rolling into the 2025 PGA Championship to record his fourth top 10 finish this season.
Patrick Cantlay – Top 10 (+280)
Another golfer with huge upside but lacking consistency lately is Patrick Cantlay. We saw him heat up on Sunday at the Truist Championship, carding a 5-under-par final round to surge into a T4 finish.
Cantlay hasn’t won a PGA Tour event in three years but he’s got plenty of metrics suggesting he’ll continue to play well at Quail Hollow Club this week. Ranked 12th in total strokes gained, including 10th SG: Approach, 34th SG: Off-the-Tee and third at finding greens in regulation.
The Californian is also 28th in putting average, 20th in scoring average, 16th in birdie average and third on par 4s. Recorded a 29th-place finish at this course during the 2024 Wells Fargo Championship.
After sliding outside the top 10 in five straight events, Cantlay bounced back in Philadelphia on Sunday with a T4 finish. He’s got three top five finishes in 2025, which makes it tempting to back him at +600 in the Top 5 Finish market. However, I’ll gladly invest a unit on Cantlay to grab a fourth top 10 finish at +280 odds instead.
