2025 Masters Best Bets: Picks & Predictions
It isn’t the official start to spring until the Masters tees off, and as we approach the annual tournament in Augusta, GA, we have exciting storylines.
The big story is whether Scottie Scheffler can carry that dominance from last year or if someone will rise and overtake the reigning Masters champion.
We’ll explore a couple of bets to consider as we prepare for the 2025 Masters.

Here are some of my favorite bets, picks and predictions for the 2025 Masters.
Justin Thomas Top-5 Finish (+360)
Justin Thomas has missed the cut in back-to-back Masters, which is why he has the large 25/1 odds to win the tournament. Before those two years, he had a top-eight finish in two of his previous three Masters appearances. He has two major wins and 15 total wins and has all the abilities to compete on this course.
Thomas has also been playing very well leading up to this week, which could give him some confidence coming into Augusta. In 2025, he has four top-10 finishes and two runner-ups, including his most recent tournament, the Valspar Championship.
Thomas is a great pick to be in the final group on Sunday.
Bryson DeChambeau Top-5 Finish (+350)
Last year, Bryson DeChambeau had his best finish in Augusta (T6), and it feels like this is his time. The power stroke is still there, but his overall game continues to improve, especially his fairway accuracy.
DeChambeau had that hot start on Thursday last year and was tied for the lead at the halfway point; a 75 and 73 on the weekend took him out of contention. He bounced back with a runner-up finish at the PGA Championship and a win at the U.S. Open.
The iron play (-0.22 strokes gained) and putting (-0.41) continue to hurt him, which could prevent him from getting the win, but he could be in contention until the final hole.
Denny McCarthy Top-10 Finish (+700)
These odds are a fantastic value for Denny McCarthy, who is having one of his best years. He has a top-20 finish in six of his nine tournaments this year, including a T5 at The Genesis Invitational. That's already more than he had all of last year.
That's because his approach to the green has been better, going from -0.017 (111th) strokes gain on approach last year to 0.317 (47th) this year. This course is not kind with its slopes and tilts, and you have to play with a smart approach, which is what McCarthy has been doing this year.
McCarthy did not have a great Masters debut last year, finishing T45, but this new approach to his game could help. He’s one of the best putters, and with how fast the greens play, a good approach to his short game could have him contend.
