2025 Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix Odds, Picks, & Predictions

Miami International Autodrome plays host to one of the newer races on the Formula 1 circuit, but there is a familiar face in the pole position for Sunday's Miami Grand Prix. Following a 17th-place finish in the Sprint, the defending world champion bounced back to pip Norris for pole position by 0.065s.

Rumors have been swirling this season that Verstappen is at his wits' end with the Red Bull car’s decline. Despite this, he’s claimed one victory already this season and sits third in the drivers' standings behind the Papaya Boys. Historically, this has been an event dominated by the four-time champion. He's collected two victories here, owns the fastest lap in Miami’s short history, and finished second in 2024. With all this in mind, you can bet him right now at +135.

Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix Picks

In terms of track structure, Miami is a mix of heavy braking zones, which you see on many modern circuits. Turn 11 and Turn 17 come at the end of very long straights, so you've got to excel on the brakes. There are obvious overtaking opportunities, but also areas to make mistakes, lock up, and blow a lap. There is a 67% safety car probability, and last year's race saw 93 overtakes in 57 laps for an average of 1.6 per trip around the track. Lando Norris is not the type to be reckless around the corners, and Verstappen should be able to maintain his lead through the straights. You also can't discount the five-second penalty he sustained last week in Jeddah, or the added motivation of becoming a father for the first time-fueling a driver hungry to climb the standings.

Give me Max at +135.
